St Albans Congress 2015

The annual St Albans Congress is a friendly 5-round Weekend Swiss Tournament that regularly attracts over 150 participants, many of whom return each year.

St Columba's College provides comfortable chess-playing conditions and excellent facilities: The playing hall is spacious and well lit; there is abundant free on-site car parking; hot meals, sandwiches, snacks and drinks are available in the canteen throughout the weekend; a separate analysis room is available and is accessed from the canteen.

Verulamium lake and park, St Albans Cathedral and town centre are all within walking distance and provide a pleasant distraction between rounds.

The Congress will use the most recent ECF Grading List (Jan 2015).
